We are pleased to partner with RAC to offer our customers peace of mind through our selection of customer care packages. These packages include RAC Warranty and RAC Roadside Assistance options tailored to meet the different needs of our customers.

Significant Features and benefits of RAC Platinum Plus Cover

Platinum Plus is the most comprehensive level of cover available today and includes:


  • All mechanical & Electrical component coverage
  • Pays Parts, Labour and VAT
  • Cover extends to Infotainment system, DPF, Catalytic convertor and diagnosis
  • Access to Nationwide network of RAC Approved repairers
  • No excess to pay

Eligibility for RAC Platinum Plus Cover

  • Maximum 8 years old and 80,000 miles
  • Minimum vehicle purchase price is £2,500

RAC Platinum Plus Cover Includes

  • Wear and tear up to 80,000 miles
  • All mechanical and electrical items (parts, labour and VAT)
  • Any item that has failed due to the part reaching the end of its working life up to 8 years and 80,000 miles
  • The cost of one diagnostic charge up to £50 (including VAT) during the cover period
  • Carbonisation

  • Can I extend my warranty at Custom Transporters Ltd?

    Yes, we offer 12, 24 or 36 months extended warranty from RAC. Cover will start when you collect your vehicle or at the end of any balance of manufacturer's warranty.

  • What is covered by the RAC Warranty offered by Custom Transporters Ltd?

    We offer Platinum Plus cover which is the best available. Along side this we also offer Platinum cover for higher mileage vehicles.

  • Does RAC Warranty include RAC Roadside cover?

    Yes, it does. All policies provided by Custom Transporters Ltd include 12 months complimentary standard cover roadside cover plus valuable discounts if you want to extend or upgrade in future. 

  • Do I need to return my vehicle to Custom Transporters Ltd to use my RAC Warranty?

    No. We would love to see you again but recognise that it is often better to have repairs done closer to home, where more convenient we recommend a member of the RAC National repair network.

  • Will RAC provide a courtesy car while mine is being repaired?

    There is no hire car service provided. However, if the repair takes longer than 8 hours, you may be reimbursed for any hardship caused by not having your vehicle.

  • How much is RAC Warranty at Custom Transporters Ltd?

    We offer a range of terms and claim limits which your sales exec will talk you through, our prices start from as little as one pound per day.

  • How can I pay for RAC Warranty at Custom Transporters Ltd?

    Most customers pay by the same method they pay for the vehicle. We accept debit card payments, bank transfer or have a range of funding options available to our customers.
